Rough Sleeping and Mental Health Programme (RAMHP): An assertive and collaborative approach (Fleet Suite)

A Talk by Johanna Cooper , Hilary Neal and David Matthews

About this Talk

The Rough Sleeping and Mental Health Programme (RAMHP) was set up by the Mayor of London in 2020 and is designed around partnerships. Small teams of mental health practitioners work together with local partners to improve outcomes for people sleeping rough with a mental health need.

This session will share RAMHP’s ethos and approach, as well as the challenges and successes of the programme and the importance of effective partnership working to support people with complex needs. It will discuss how the mental health and/or psychological needs makes engaging in social and health care difficult for a person and how to work with the wider system to bring about improvement.
