Lunchtime spotlight: Using data and indicators to prevent rough sleeping (online)

A Talk by Fraser Nicholson (Homelessness Partnerships Coordinator Housing, Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole Council)

About this Talk

A new Ending Rough Sleeping Framework led by the Centre for Homelessness Impact seeks to provide some common definitions and indicators to help better identify the scale and causes of rough sleeping, and how this can be prevented, or where this is not possible that cases be rare, brief and non-recurring.

The presentation from early adopters BCP Council will provide some background to this work and who has been involved to date, as well as briefly covering the initial set of indicators, the importance of some technical capacity and expertise within teams as well as the intended benefits both more immediately and in the longer term.
