About this speaker
Fraser was born and raised in Glasgow before moving down to Dorset in the early 2000s, when in his mid-twenties. He has been involved in combatting homelessness in various forms in the BCP (Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole) area for almost twenty years, initially in the third sector before moving to the LA in 2015. His current role involves a lot of strategic and partnership working, including close liaison and linking with a wide range of local organisations in their Homelessness Partnership, which has 50 current signatories who are crucial to their collective effort to prevent and resolve homelessness.
Fraser has also been involved in working with colleagues from BCP Council, four other LAs, DLUHC and the Centre for Homelessness Impact on a new Ending Rough Sleeping Framework, which is due to be start being rolled out nationally this Spring.
